"Following completion of my BSc Optometry Degree in City University, London in 1986, I worked for eight years in independent practice in Edinburgh and then in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland.
Our Downpatrick practice was opened in 1996, quickly followed by the opening of a second practice in Kircubbin, Co. Down in 2001. The practices have won many awards to date, inclusing UK’s most fashionable practice and UK’s best marketing practice.
We have had much success to date and I attribute this success to a strong customer focus and a team of very competent optometrists, supported by equally competent support staff, offering a high level of expertise.
When you visit our practice, we want you to enjoy every step of your journey. The staff are very friendly and able to make you feel very comfortable. A thorough eye examination will be performed using the very latest innovations in eye care. Following this you will be professionally advised regarding your eye health and your requirement, or not, for an update in prescription. You may be referred to our local hospital for a second opinion if we detect any pathology.
Since our practice opened we have a policy of providing highest standard of high care at a fair price, so if you do not require spectacles or an update after your eye examination this will be made clear to you. Should you need glasses however, we can provide from low cost ready readers to the latest fashion trends with thinnest lenses at very competitive prices.
